Kat Gun is an artist based out of Philadelphia PA. Her eerie paintings and
illustrations tug at the viewer to go deeper into their psyche and
consider mortality, sexuality, and the things that go bump in the night.

Kat exhibits her work all over the nation, and surrounds herself
with artist peers to continuously fuel the creative fire, and to push
her artwork to the next level. Her style and subject matter is
constantly evolving- ever so slightly- reflecting the changes in her life.

Kat is also an alternative model whose model mayhem site can be seen here She has worked with photographers such as Adam of OptPhoto, Candylust, and Jon MMMayhem, and has played the model/muse for artists such as Buddy Nestor, Dave Glass, and Amanda Shames. Kat played an important role as co-creator and model for the project Pin Up Players/Pin Up Originals , which was a major undertaking for both her and Adam of OptPhoto. Kat also flexed her "writer" muscles when she wrote the article for The Pin Up Players project that was printed in Pin Up Magazine.

Kat was born and raised in the woods of North Jersey, but has lived on both coasts- she took a break mid college career to move to San Francisco for the
artistic and life experience. She earned her bachelor degree in
Contemporary Arts with a concentration in Modern Art History from
Ramapo College in North Jersey.

Kat Gun is last but not least a jelly bean and vodka connoisseur,
and has a serious obsession with hairless cats.
